Nice chart Ferry, after 4 years of having a 4G enabled laptop, I've decided against ordering my last laptop with a 4G module. Here's the barriers to adoption that stopped me: 1. iPhone wireless hotspots works great, 2. 4G modules are niche technology and do not work so great (especially the software is rather slow and buggy; I usually had the iPhone tethering up and running in a fraction of the time it took the Lenovo module to initialize), 3. for those of us who are not consultants, working in locations where you do not have access to wi-fi is an exception rather than the rule, 4. adding the 4G laptop to your data plan is a bureaucratic nightmare.
I love my ipad being always on ... thethering is only useful if you have time ....
